49-meter A-frame column Ferris wheel
The 49-meter, A-frame-supported Ferris wheel features a steel-cable bracing structure. The wheel rim is connected to the central axle by five support arms, while 60 steel cables crisscross to secure the axle. The passenger cabins are mounted and stabilized via cabin brackets fixed to the outer circumference of the wheel rim. The drive platform is equipped with eight sets of drive units; each set uses an electric motor to rotate the wheel via friction wheels, thereby driving the cabins in circular motion. As passengers sit inside the cabins and the cabins slowly ascend, they can gaze out through the windows, gradually enjoying an ever-widening view of the surrounding scenery.
